To create an awe inspiring millennium celebratory water screen event. Using the natural resources of Liverpool and told the History of the Famous city.

Lee Forde created the concept to use the world famous docks area of Liverpool to place a water screen that could be viewed by thousands. The event would be viewed over the millennium weekend and would be a key part of the cities celebrations in 1999.

Results

  • The event design and content was designed and produced by Lee Forde
  • The show used the largest Water screen in Europe. With searchlights and lasers along with the most powerful moving head stage lights in the world
  • The event was watched by over 250,000 people over the three days
  • It was the highest attendance at any millennium event outside of London
